Eve chuckled at his words. "Stop joking around. President Davis, you're someone who has seen the world. Someone like me isn't even noticeable to you."
Claire was taken aback. "President?"
Eve smiled again. She stretched out her arm and tapped on Claire's shoulder. "Our President Davis has a quirk. He likes to hide his identity and test for others' true intentions."
After saying that, Eve glanced at Claire's identity card and added, "Especially toward new employees like you."
Claire gave it some thought and realized that Asher was the only person she knew in Kens Corporation, and he was also the only one she knew personally. She did not have the slightest clue that there was a big shot like Caleb in the company.
"Eve, she's under your department," Caleb said, "I ran into her this morning and we coincidentally met again, so we were just exchanging a few words with each other."
