With John Fame's departure, the CEO's office descended into chaos.
The key problem was that John Fame left without any instructions. Zack Shaw and the secretary of the CEO's office could not find a reasonable excuse to refuse those who sought him.
Again and again, the only answer they could give was: Mr. Fame urgently had to leave for important matters and isn't here.
What was that particular matter? No one knew.
Zack Shaw hung up a call and hurriedly walked over to Lissy Lock: "Lissy, at this point, you might be the only one who can help."
"Huh?" Lissy was surprised, "What can I do? I'm notifying the directors of all departments to postpone today's meeting..."
"Call Mr. Fame and ask where he is..." said Zack, then paused, "No, you can't ask like that. In the capacity of the CEO's secretary, ask Mr. Fame what to do with company matters? Postpone all? Or come back immediately to handle them."
