"My whole life has been a lie."
Even though Drake knew he had said those words over and over again. He had quoted the words before now and had scribbled them on the tablet of his heart. Yet, he decided to remind himself once again.
He sat on the wooden floor of the Manor room. His head down, face thrown towards the birch floor. He shut the doors of his eyes and took a very deep breath. He felt like he would need more than just that.
He went again and again till he felt his body easing up. He was getting ready to recount every detail of the information he had just gathered.
The simpler he broke the facts, the little the particles were, the easier it would be for him to understand every of the little detail. He didn't want to live a lie anymore. He didn't want to be engulfed by darkness, and dangled to and fro with no purpose.
He opened his eyes when the sequence had been achieved. He sat up, his back arced to retain the perfect sitting position.
