"You don't want to ruin your only chance."
The tall girl said calmly, seated in the couch unbothered. Drake stopped. He couldn't charge at her. He let the anger abate.
There were couple things going on in his mind, and one of them which pissed him off to the end of his wits was the fact that she was so unbothered.
"I'm sure you are smart enough to know that."
She added, looking away from him as a gentle smile escaped her beautiful face. The beautiful face which looked like a nightmare to Drake at that moment. Nothing about her appealed to him. Not at that moment. If he could have his way... if he could bring himself to it, he would crush her to pebbles. Right at that instant.
"So, have a seat and let's get this over with."
She got up from the couch and walked to the bar. She poured two glasses of drinks.
"Mild or hard?"
