"Caidine... Wait..."
He followed her into the hall she had just disappeared into. His voice was loud enough to earn him enough attention from the students. He bowed in plea and hurried through the aisle.
She had settled down in a chair which had no vacant space neither to its left nor right. Drake was lucky to find a space directly behind her.
He hurried to that place. It was almost taken by someone else,
"Hey..."
His eyes glowed at the person who was going to seat there. The fellow flinched. Drake settled in before looking back up at the fellow.
"What was that?"
The boy was so curious.
"What are you talking about?"
Drake feigned ignorance.
"I thought I saw your eyes ---"
"If you would excuse me please, lecture is about to commence."
He was successful in shooing the fellow off. While the fellow walked through the aisle, he would occasionally look back at him.
