Caidine was dressed for the day. She had a round-neck top, skimpy skirt and long winter jacket, to-match with a pair of sneakers. She opened the door of her room and stepped into the hallway. Strapped to her back was the backpack which contained her school books.
"That fool. I thought he said I would wake up to him..."
She grunted in displeasure, slamming the door.
"Who knows. Probably, those dumb hencemen said what they weren't sent to."
"Why do I fight for him? I don't have anything to with him... not anymore."
She walked briskly through the hallway and climbed down the stairs.
"Good morning, Mistress."
Her eyes hurried to the direction from where the greeting came. There were three hencemen stationed at different corners of the living room.
OH RIGHT, I ALMOST FORGOT THAT THEY ARE HERE.
"Huhmmn..."
She made a weird sound and climbed down the stairs. Her eyes went to a youth sleeping in a couch, snoring.
