They had just finished eating and were leaving the restaurant. She was behind him saying something to one of the waitresses. A part of him was interested in what it was all about,but again he didn't think it necessary, so he ignored.
She finally came to join him and they exchanged smiles. They held hands and led each other towards their car.
Some of the people who were around couldn't take their eyes off them. They kept looking so keenly that either of them couldn't pretend that they weren't alerted.
"They look like a couple."
"But she's obviously older than him... even though she has a nice shape, which keeps her young... yet it's quite--"
"Would you just let them be?! How about you go hunt for yours."
That was one of the conversations the both of them overheard on their way to their car. They both exchanged smiles again and got in the car.
