Chapter 168 – Business relations
Idun asked them not to be lured by Medusa's current movement and to stabilize at the speed of other humans. They tried hard to follow Idun's orders but couldn't. It was more terrifying when the creature screamed at them than the sweet voices it had heard before.
They were still waiting for Ronan and needed help to find the young man. The boundary they had crossed was impossible for those humans to move. They would walk from the start repeatedly along the same path until they were killed by Medusa's hand. Darren pointed out that the chain connecting Ronan felt loose, and suddenly he pulled it.
It rolled on the ground leaving only an edge that didn't lead anyone to them. Idun and the others couldn't do anything while waiting for Ronan to walk towards them by himself. As his best friend, Van always prays and warns the young man that he hopes to get out of there safely.
