Chapter 157 – The pills for him
Even though he didn't pay for the medicine, Darren didn't think about it because he believed the trust Van had placed in him made Darren more confident to help him. Darren also had the pills for himself, whereas Jase had been prepared to help Darren if anything happened between Hale and Van.
Jase sat behind them, preparing to support, and Darren positioned according to what had been prepared. Hale and Van felt nothing, and neither did Darren. Jase didn't understand that they should feel the side effects like him if they wanted to get back into shape.
