Chapter 139 - The same holes and passages
Startled by a hand touching Jase's shoulder, a man who had just arrived asked if he was looking for Darren and his comrades. Jase, of course, replied that he had lost them while sitting around the place and again found no one there.
"Let me show you." said the man. Hale called his friends and pointed at Jase, who was being carried away by the two to three people surrounding him. Darren didn't want to lose Jase again a second time like that time and cause him to become a praying benchmark.
He held Jase's hand, which was almost like being hypnotized by those people. His eyeballs returned to normal. Van inquired about his safety while the room they used yesterday was still a mess. The boy's words could distract those suspecting Jase's friends.
