Chapter 133 - The dwelling
Darren looked at the fruits and then looked at Jase and his colleagues. Although there was a little doubt, he didn't want to hurt the feelings of his colleagues who had been guarding him for a long time.
Van corrected his sitting position while taking a chair close to him. He was tired from having to hold drinking water. Hale asks what made Darren like that, but he hesitates to tell, and they patiently wait to tell.
Darren then conveyed his nightmare to his colleagues. They listened to every word the teenager said and played it. He needed reassurance that Darren wasn't dreaming. As Ronan had said earlier, he fell asleep on the stretcher the people were carrying and didn't have time to eat with them.
Hale picked him up and placed him on the bed he was using now. Darren squeezed the blanket and slowly accepted their words. He took a bite of the fruit in his hand, followed by Van, Hale, and the others doing the same.
