Chapter 109 - The Leftovers
People surrounded the village while carrying weapons that could be used. Darren was there restraining the people from chasing the others and started discussing why they would do such a thing.
"What are you looking for from us?" Darren asked, holding the chains tight. Janet, the girl who was rescued by Darren and treated well by Van, broke through the crowd. Her gaze seemed to underestimate Darren's ability.
That makes little sense because the people there want to loot Darren's group and the others. After all, the items they wear are luxurious and expensive. They often move around after raiding villages and small villages to trap travelers and then take their treasures when they cripple them after being served.
"What a great Mana was controlling descendant, or should I call it a Mana controller candidate," said Janet.
