Chapter 62 - The guard is missing
Darren was getting angry with Ronan's words, and Jase didn't look surprised because he had already thought of what Darren might do while he was here.
Darren turned around and went back to Ronan.
"Of course I will," Darren replied confidently and smiled.
Ronan pointed in the direction they were going now, Darren back past the maids' halfway house. The maids were looking at them since Ronan, Darren, and Jase were showing the bridges of their noses.
They arrived at the place where the knights Darren had come last night. They were wearing armor and not forgetting the cloaks that hung over their shoulders.
"Everyone, get ready! The Commander-in-Chief has arrived!" one of them shouted.
Simultaneously they lined up, tidying themselves up neatly. Their gazes were sharply staring straight ahead. When Ronan was already in the middle of the pulpit, they both followed and didn't make a sound.
