Chapter 178 – An Alligator
Darren wow, Darren! Shouted at someone far away. He saw Van and Jase waving as they came towards him in his rented canoe.
"Where did you come from?" Hale asked about Darren with worry. He only said that he had been chased by people until, for some reason, he was on the edge of the door. Jase asked Darren to get in a canoe with the others since he only rented a small canoe and was going the other way.
They told Darren how worried they were, even though he was already concerned with the situation bothering him. Darren worked up the courage to ask Hale what he saw because Hale was the only travel companion who wouldn't get too worked up about things Darren didn't want to talk about.
He asked, "Did you see the girls hanging out?"
