"...Bai Chen! What's going on with you? Why are you suddenly so quiet?"
Bai Chen gasped in surprise when he heard someone question him. It was not only the voice that managed to pull him out of his reverie, but how the other person shook his shoulders with his hands also managed to help him shake off the strange image that had just appeared in his head.
He didn't even know what had happened to him, but his mind suddenly produced a mysterious image that he was sure wasn't part of his own memory.
'That memory suddenly appeared when I'm in this river. The setting is not in the modern world, so I believe those memories belong to the real Bai Chen of this world. But, why do I suddenly have those memories in my head?'
The strange memories had stopped flooding his mind, but Bai Chen's heart was still pounding because of it, and he was still quite disturbed by what he had just seen in his head.
