As he would do after a period of time, Rowan finally decided to visit his family for a meal. To him, this particular visit was special, though. He could feel a sense of triumph simmering in his chest as he drove towards the family estate, his thoughts filled with Rose's affectionate gestures. He could see her efforts every single day and that got him in a better mood every time he thought about it.
He had only decided to visit his family because he was sure that the safety of Rose and Leo was guaranteed once he was away.
As he pulled into the driveway, the sprawling garden and the stately home greeted him, their familiarity instantly calming him. He stepped out of the car, taking a moment to appreciate the view before heading inside.
"Rowan! There's my big boy!"
