The principal and Rose moved around the whole of the orphanage, as he showed her the ins and outs of the place, while Cora , Leo, Diana and Alice were left to the children alongside the caretakers, to of course arrange everything that had been brought, and to make sure that everything was okay.
"This place is so old!"

"Yes, this is my land. I told you at that time when I was starting this orphanage, I honestly had nothing. And this explains why the buildings look the way they look and the environment looks the way it looks."
The principal was nervous and ashamed at the same time because they were on completely two different social ladders. One of them was not used to such environments and the other was actually used and comfortable to such environments.
