Even after breaking down before his whole family, Rowan still felt horrible because life was not just the same without Rose.
He really wanted to hear from her. He really wanted to know what her own thought was on everything. He just wanted to have a conversation with her. He wanted to directly explain himself to her.
But at the moment, he understood that we all don't care what we wish for, because even though he knew that he could just walk up to her house and actually get in, look for her and have a civil talk with her, he was not trying to make her hate him more. Because at the moment he knew if there was someone she really despised then it had to be him.
