"Why do you look so happy today?"
Mrs Lee couldn't help but skeptically eye her son from head to toe, as this is the first time Rowan had gone home willingly with a smile to share a meal with his family.
"Well, Mom, let's just say your son is off the market."
The glass that grandma Lee was drinking water from immediately fell as everyone looked at Rowan with a very strange look, all their mouths wide open as grandpa scratched his ear as if trying to understand if he was really dreaming or if what Rowan just said was right.
"You…. did she accept?"
"Rose? Accept me mom? That girl is a tough nut to crack. But anyway, I asked her to try dating me for two months and if she was not satisfied with me in that two-month period then I wouldn't bother her."
"Pfffft…."
Amara immediately burst out laughing the moment she heard this as Rowan gave her a glare, but she was not ready to back down as her laughter became louder instead.
