'Mommy, I'm hungry....' Ravi moaned as he dragged himself across to the kitchen. Samantha, Ravi's mother, chuckled and stood up, rubbing his head. She had obvious dark circles around her eyes.
'Hey, Mommy, are you alright?' Ravi asked, concerned. Samantha did not say anything. Instead, she told Ravi, 'Ravi, don't tell anyone that I am sick, do you understand?' Ravi was rather confused but he still nodded his head. Samantha sighed in relief, making Ravi even more confused.
However, the next day in kindergarten, Ravi, in a slip of a tongue, told his best friend, Daniel, about his mother' s sickness. He wanted to take back what he said, but....it will never be able to be taken back, and Ravi knew so very well. Assuming it wasn't much of a bug deal and wanted to avoid getting scolded, Ravi told his mouthing none.
Little did he know that, soon, he will regret his decision very much...
