"Mama called earlier, she's asking me if I know where Cheche would possibly stay tonight. I was totally nervous while talking to her. She and dad were really worried for my little sister. I haven't told them that Cheche's here because Cheche asked me not to inform them of her whereabouts, but I also pity my parents at the same time." Marigold heaved a sigh after voicing out her own dilemma. Even at this hour, she can't sleep.
On the other hand, Raymart held Marigold's hands and smiled at her. "You're always thinking what your parents would feel. That's one of the reasons that made me admire you more, Goldie."
"Didn't you feel that when you're with your parents?"
Raymart nodded. "I can't remember if I had any special bond with them. And besides, I'm not the type of child who is outspoken. My younger sister, Maddie, is the opposite of mine."
"By the way, why don't we just talk about the party we're going to attend the next day?" Finally, Raymart changed the subject.
