Charlie and Paula waved enthusiastically to Paula's nephew, Baron, as the taxi they were riding in with his real parents was leaving. This is their brand new day of being together, Baron's parents promised that their communication with Paula will remain and she can be with her nephew during summer break.
She preceded Charlie to enter the house that she pawned in a mortgage and go straight to the rooftop. As usual, she just feels calmer when looking at the light around there. She almost got a heart attack as she saw Charlie approaching beside her.
"Why are you holding back your tears?" Charlie asked, confused.
"It's as embarrassing as crying in front of you, then I prepared myself when this day comes, just ignore me," Paula lamented. The more she pretends to act fine, the more that Charlie figured out that she's not really fine, which made her feel overwhelmed.
