Mrs. Chanda pretended that her grandson's question didn't shock her.
"Marigold and I have not talked since last week. Why did you ask?"
"Are you telling the truth?"
"Of course, why would I lie about it? I know that you're still not convinced to marry her and I think she's also feeling the same way so I never bothered her," Mrs. Chanda answered while chewing her food.
"Okay okay. I won't ask you again," he shrugged and continued his meal instead.
"Why did you suddenly get interested in her? Perhaps, are you convinced that Marigold is really a good woman?" A hint of a smile grew on Mrs. Chanda's face while asking her grandson.
Raymart shook his head. "Well, I just woke up realizing how mean I was towards her. And I secretly went to their house, unfortunately it succumbed to fire. Not only their house but to her other neighbors as well."
"Do you talk with her? I mean—did you ask her about the fire incident?"
