"Grandma, please stand there. I'm only here if you need help, we have to eat breakfast."
A familiar woman's voice echoed in the room. Mrs. Chanda slowly looked up at the woman who owned that voice but she was upset to find out who she was.
"Why are you here, Marigold? Did your husband send you here?" Mrs. Chanda asked Marigold loudly, she didn't know why the weight on his chest had increased even more when she saw her granddaughter-in-law.
"Grandma, just come with us back to our home. We're asking for your forgiveness. We're really sorry for hiding you about the circulating news. Please," Marigold pleaded. She would have touched Mrs. Chanda but the old lady spontaneously moved away from her.
"No thanks. I'm gonna live here with Liu for a while."
Marigold flinched and was alarmed by the visible sharpness of the look that Mrs. Chanda was throwing at her.
