"So, day two." The five of us stood in the battle arena. "I wanted you all to show me your skills, weapons, ability, anything you can, alright?" I took out a notebook from my pocket alongside a pen as me and Hana sat on the seat beside the arena. Aside from Suga, no one seems enthusiastic to try out. "…" Hana pulled the sleeve of my shirt. "You are being too serious." She talked. "You are stressing them out."
"Alright, alright." I stood up, placing the notebook and pen aside. "Let me demonstrate first." I took off my coat and toss it aside, before doing a few simple stretch and enter the arena alongside them. I reach my hand out as a katana formed mid-air. "This is my weapon, or relic. A katana." "What is so special about it?" Rain asked out, the rest approached and inspected it. "Just, just a normal sword I bought at a dollar store." I scratch my head before admitting the truth. The rest rolled their eyes and let out a deep sigh. "How about your ability?" Suga asked, she seems more interested about how I am able to knockout twenty of them in just a split second. "My ability is editing." "Editing?" The rest stare at me and asked, confused. "Time editing" I added "Imagine the timespan completely under your control."
"Such as?" Rain asked, looks like I had successfully got their attention, nice. "I can loop time." I raised my hand, black particle started to circle around my wrist and onto my finger before snapped. "Such as?" Rain asked once more, the rest stare at him in confusion. "I can loop time." "Such as?" Rain repeated. With the same expression and word, and it was at that time the rest realise she had been looped.
"Just like that." I almost laughed out, Rain realised he had been tricked as he rolled his eyes and gave me a middle finger. "I could freeze time, slow it down, increase aging infinitely, everything about time is under my control." "You can see the future?" They asked once more. "Kind of, if I wanted." "Why didn't you do it, then?" The rest asked. "Life is interesting because of the unexpected, that's why it is life." Hell yeah. philosophy. "That is the purpose of it after all, right? Don't try to change the topic, no I had finish my part, it is yours." I headed back to my seat and taking back my pen and notebook. "You, Suga. Go on." I asked out.
"Me?" Suga waved her hands, embarrassed. "Why me?" She asked out. "Because you are the only one, I had a talk with." I increased my voice a little. "Remember what happened yester-" "Alright! Alright!" She waved her hands, interrupting my sentence. "I will do it, alright?" "Nice" I smiled, she glare at me and pouted.
"Suga, manipulation over candy."
"Rain, gravity manipulation."
"Brock, metallization."
"Chara, water bending."
"Thank you, guys, for today" I stare at the list in my hand, alongside with other handy information as I smiled, satisfied. "H-hell, I, I bet you shoul-ld." Rain panted as he lay flat on the floor, the gauntlet in his hands disappear, he had completely worn himself off. The rest seems equally as tired too, I felt way damn guilty about this. "How about I treat you all dinner for today?" I took out my watch, it is half past six, the sky is getting dark soon.
"Really?" Upon hearing the word "dinner", Brock is the first to get revived. He is a simple guy to be honest, he is also the most balanced out of the all. "Really." I waved my hand, signalling them to get up. Everyone of them stood up, eager, tired and definitely hungry, except Chara. She just stood up and stand there, she did not follow us or whatever. "Hey, Chara." Rain found that she didn't keep up with the rest as he turn his head and shouted. "What are you waiting for?" Chara stare at him, before shaking her head slowly. "I, I can't" She spoke slowly, she seems quite nervous and anxious. "I needed to get back" With that she grab her bag from the seat before dashed out of the stadium. "Huh" I stare at her weird reaction as I mumbled under my breath. "Weird girl"
"Rain"
"Rain~"
"RAIN!" I literally roared right beside his ears to get his attention. "Ow!" He cover his ear with his hand as he yelped, glaring at me. "What's all that yelling?!" "Well I wouldn't do it, if you just take the damn beer!" I snapped back, this kid, we had been on each other's wrong foot ever since we met. "Oh, thank you." Rain finally realises the beer handed out by the shop owner. He took it, before nodding slightly as a sign of appreciation. The owner nodded back with an awkward smile before turning back to work.
"Why do you keep spacing out?" I asked, staring at him. His brown pupils seems to drift out of outer space, staring at something that doesn't exist. "Nothing, just, I am worry about Chara?" He shook his head as he chugged onto the iced beer in his hand. "Chara? Who is she to you, your girlfriend?" I taunted, sipping on my cup of caffeine goodness.
"No!" He denied immediately, slamming the wooden cup onto the counter beneath him. He seems quite sensitive about this issue, either he is quite drunk, or either this is the truth. "Chill~" I picked up a piece of chicken popcorn and toss it into my mouth. "The rest are away from us, come on. Just the two of us right now, why are you that alert?" I handed him another refill of my beer, hell yeah what a teacher I am, trying to drunken my very own student.
"Yeah…" After finishing another round, he seems even more insensitive, like a safe made out of paper. Ready to be torn apart, revealing the secret within it. Rain take a quick glimpse at the rest sitting at the corner of the bar, before beginning his story…
"Zeo…" Kasumi and the girls waited at the school's gate. It is starting to get a bit late, and yet he is nowhere to be seen. "Ding~" Right when they are wondering why he is late, all of them got a message from him. "Sorry, need to bring the students out for a drink." "Argh!!" The rest let out a groan of frustration and desperation. "Students, students, students…" Kasumi rubbed her hair and mumbled under her breath, pacing around, biting her fingernails. "Come on, at least this proves he is a great teacher." Mei tried to cheer the rest up, but all of them seems like they just got their soul suck dry.
"Hey, girls~" When they decide to head home, a group of boys approached them. Kasumi and Mei recognize them, they are those rich bastards of Class S. They had memory of them trying to flirt with a girl at the school corridor, the two didn't had great impression towards them. "Looks like you are all alone." The lead boy, Jonathan approached them first. "We can give you a ride." He placed his hand onto Hizuki's shoulder, smirking.
"Sorry" Hizuki smiled, rejecting politely. "We already had our own transport." Yui jiggled the car keys, signalling them that it wasn't necessary. "Are you rejecting me? Old lady?" Jonatan grabbed her face and growled. "Old lady?" Hizuki's face twitched a bit, before the rest could take any action, his hand suddenly was suddenly slice clean off. "My, my arm!" Jonathan screamed, backing up before falling down to the ground. The rest seems equally as shocked by her action.
"You should've learned some respect, you shitty brat. I never ages." Hizuki flashes out the entire set of surgical utensils in her grasp, still dripping in blood. Her red worm like tongue stretches out before licking on it. "Y-you!" Before Jonathan could curse, she is already standing right in front of her, grabbing her head with her hand and his chopped of arm with another. "Let this be a warning, Mr rich." With that she pushed the limb back into the opening before waving the surgical tools. Within seconds, she had successfully linked the arm back. "Eh, eh?" Jonathan moved it a bit. It feels painless, as if nothing had ever happened before. No wound, no blood, not even a stitch or a split. "Let's get back, girls." Hizuki waved her hands while the rest followed, leaving the boys alone, still shocked.
"What the fuck."
