"Huh? You're kidding, right? There's no way in this day and age, things like that still exist," Jade said in disbelief.
Shane chuckled at Jade's words. Understand that it would be difficult for Jade to understand since her human side was still so rational.
"Anyway, I can't stay away from you as my master, Jade. So-"
"Shane... you don't have to do that. Errr, or maintain obligations like that. I mean... you understand, right? I don't want to be anyone's master and I don't have anyone's slave."
Unfortunately, Shane shook his head. Master and slave have become a bond between vampires and wolves. However wolves hate vampires, they couldn't stay away from their masters.
