"Aviana." Evan Livares was feeling a bit worried when Aviana Valos didn't say anything for a while. However, judging from Aviana's reaction to his voice, it seemed more like she was lost in her thoughts and that his voice snapped her out of it.
When Aviana noticed that he appeared quite worried, she smiled and grabbed his wrist before practically making him walk by pulling him. "Let's take a taxi," she said. "You can continue resting at home and I can also stay for a while."
The thought of going home and facing his parents in the presence of Aviana was so nerve-wracking that Evan abruptly halt his steps, making Aviana turn to him, confused. "Evan -"
"Why don't we slowly walk home instead?" Evan Livares promptly suggested before Aviana could even say anything. "I will walk you home."
"But -"
"I'm really fine now," he insisted and forced a smile, not even knowing that she always see through the fake smile and that she hated whenever he did so.
