The annual sport was wrapped up peacefully and Aviana was on her way home with Levi Carson. As her brother gave her a ride in the morning, she didn't have much chance to talk to Levi apart from the lunch break when he called her to ask where she was and if she had eaten.
"Do you enjoy your time yesterday?"
Aviana Valos shifted her gaze from the view to Levi when she heard his question. Then she nodded. "I'm glad that you don't spill anything to my family."
"Do you even think I will do that?" Levi Carson asked her in a strangely sincere tone that surprised her a bit. "If there is someone who knows your desire for freedom the best, I bet that will be me."
"Do you really think so?" Aviana's voice was soft but there was a hint of doubt in it. However...
Levi nodded. "You're like an open book to me; so easy to see through."
Somehow, his claim made her uneasy. Was he really able to see through her as much as he said?
