Axel drove Alice back to her house. And now they had arrived in front of Alice's house but were still mute in the car, neither moving nor getting out of the car.
"Alice." Call Axel to start the conversation.
"Yes."
"Sorry I dragged you into danger earlier. I didn't expect you to be so scared the first time you heard the gunshots, do you have some kind of trauma?" Axel asked.
"That's over, please don't force me to re-open wounds that haven't been completely sealed." Alice said in a bitter voice.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Alice." Axel said feeling guilty.
"It's okay, Axel. It's over." Alice said. Axel nodded.
"By the way, thanks for your help today," said Axel, changing the topic.
"I didn't do anything, I'm the one who should be thanking you for protecting me so well that I wasn't even scratched." Alice said. Now he turned his body to Axel.
"It's true what Anna said, I'll be safe when I'm with you." Alice added.
