Mr. Morris arrived and picked them as usual before they took off for work. The needs of humans differ. Most of these needs can only be satisfied by another human, and nothing can replace that, not even wealth.

By riding to work with the Chairman, Ken had a sense of satisfaction that he never had as a child from his father. He grew up with his mother and sister. His father, who was a polygamist, never cared for any of his children. As an adult and a family man, that vacuum was still there yearning to be filled. These past weeks had been wonderful. Mr. Morris had filled that vacuum.
