CONTRITE FOR HIS ACTIONS 6
Jeff responded with a smile, but before he could move away from the Secretary's corner, the twenty staff had disappeared. He was amazed but did not show it because he would not want to appear inexperienced. Besides, he thought they left, probably because his presence as a child would not be tolerated.
All the same, he proceeded to his father's office. He observed that same occurrence when he walked in. To his astonishment, the men and women were adults and educated.
'Why should they be influenced by my presence?'
He thought. The Vice Chairman who was writing when Jeff walked in did not notice his presence because he was engrossed in his work, besides, he was crowded with people and work. He thought it was another guest that walked in. He greeted his dad to get his attention.
"Hello, dad."
By the time he looked up, he saw only his son standing in front of him. Everyone had left.
"Oh! The Purple Tag."
