"He is responsible for receiving tasks from the big shots and then assigning them to us. Those big shots don't trust us people at the bottom, so they find intermediaries like him to delegate the tasks. Thorne takes a cut from the final commission as his own 'introduction fee'."
"Similar to an 'Intermediary' profession?"
