Before He Ao could react, another team descended from the sky. Piloting small combat mechs emblazoned with the insignia of the Mining Consortium's rail mine carts, they dropped from heaven.
These combat mechs were not in formation; leading them were a few D-level mechs, followed by E-level and even F-level mechs.
The foremost D-level mech, roughly a dozen meters tall, landed in front of He Ao and tossed to him a mechanical device, about sixty to seventy centimeters wide, shaped like a bat with outstretched wings.
The lower end of the device had two circular jet ports, and from its sides extended something akin to a waist belt.
"Kid, this is a mini flying machine," a middle-aged man's voice came from inside the mech. "Strap it on, and the moment we engage, run towards my back."
"This gadget is great for saving your skin. Just put the belt around your waist; it'll lock automatically," continued the voice.
