"Who is it?"
Kyle looked up, his gaze alert as he turned toward the door.
"Boss, it seems like the lights went out because of a trip in the circuit breaker. All the lights from the first to the third floor are off, and they won't come back on."
The one who pushed the door open was a young underling.
"Go push the breaker back up."
Kyle commanded impatiently.
"Yes, boss."
The underling closed the door.
Kyle turned his head, slightly apologetic, towards Carven, "My apologies, Mr. Carven, there's been a small mishap."
"It's fine," Carven nodded lightly, "Life always has its share of surprises."
And just as he finished speaking, a voice suddenly came from the TV that was displaying financial statements, "Indeed, Mr. Kyle, where in life are there no surprises?"
"Who are you?"
Kyle frowned at the TV, like a lion guarding its territory.
"Rather than discussing who I am, let's talk about your future fate,"
