"Cherish, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Yannis Griffith gently patted her back, helping her catch her breath and admonishing, "Don't drink that much in the future!"
"There are tissues in my bag." After vomiting, Cherish Turner sobered up a bit, her voice soft.
Yannis quickly got a tissue for her. Cherish thanked him and took it, wiping away the filth. She was surprisingly calm, seemingly back to her usual state, smiling faintly and saying, "I'm fine now, I won't drink that much again. This was the first time, and it'll be the last."
"What happened between you and my brother?" Yannis stared at her profile, asking in a deep voice.
Cherish was silent for a moment before speaking.
Finally, she spoke, calmly saying, "I think...we're finished." He must have made his choice by now, she thought.
She had also made her own choice.
Yannis seemed to have already anticipated the outcome and wasn't surprised. For a moment, he didn't know what to feel.
