After staying at the Turner residence for a while, Cherish was planning to leave. She didn't mention anything else, just that she had to return to work. Mother Turner asked Daniel Peacock if he could give Cherish a lift, as it was hard to get a cab in the area, and she was worried about Cherish being late. Daniel agreed, so Cherish got in his car.
During the journey, Cherish checked her bag and realized she had left something at the Deep Wave Mansion. Due to the heavy wind and rain, she had no choice but to ask Daniel to take her back to retrieve it.
All the way, Cherish had a silly thought in her head – what if he was waiting for her there?
It wasn't until they reached the alley entrance that they could go no further.
Cherish hurriedly thanked Daniel and opened the car door to get out.
Daniel also got out of the car and called out to her, "Cherish!"
