The group shifted their position and waited again outside the intensive care unit.
The maid who came with Chloe Turner went out to buy some food, brought back coffee and desserts, and handed a cup of coffee to Daniel Peacock with both hands, saying softly, "Have some hot coffee and food. We're lucky you were here today."
Taking the coffee, Daniel Peacock's gaze fell on Cherish Turner, who was sitting stiffly.
Chloe saw it too. She didn't intend to pity him, but considering Daniel's presence, they were all grateful to him today. Plus, she was an adult and wouldn't behave immaturely. So, reluctantly, she picked up the hot coffee and cocoa bread and handed them to Cherish. "Here!" she said awkwardly.
Cherish shook her head, "I don't want to eat."
