Suddenly, a taxi slowly approached from the end of the road. The taxi stopped on the opposite side of the road, and a woman, with one hand holding various packages and the other holding an umbrella, got out of the car. The wind was so strong that the umbrella was blown sideways, and the woman struggled to hold it up, just covering the packages in her hand, trying to protect them from the rain.
Through the window, Cherish Turner casually turned her head and caught a glimpse of the scene.
The man walking beside the woman in the rain was none other than Anthony Turner. Although she had only seen him briefly at the Turner Family home, she recognized him immediately.
