"Oh... what did you say..." Mother Turner stammered, uncertain how to react to the shocking news.
"Anthony Turner, do you know him?"
Cherish repeated the question, but Mother Turner gave a negative answer: "Not really, although I've done insurance with many people, I've never heard of this name, not familiar..."
The answer was clear. If her mother had known Anthony Turner, how could she ask Cherish who he was in front of her? Cherish became even more certain; her mother never stammered when talking to her. She had always been an energetic woman.
