After dinner, to prevent Cherish Turner from continuing to wallow at home, William Griffith asked Thomas Harrison to take her out for a walk to clear her mind. For the first time in a long while, William didn't drive by himself but joined Cherish in the luxurious extended limousine.
As the car window rolled down, William's handsome side profile was exposed to the air.
He didn't turn his head and said in a deep voice, "Thomas, get in the car!"
"Yes! Boss!" Thomas bowed his head, took a step forward, opened the front passenger side door, and bent down to get in.
Then, the window slowly rolled up again.
William still had things to deal with at his company and couldn't stay for long. The car slowly drove out of Deep Wave Mansion with Cherish and William, heading towards the Griffith Group.
Along the way, no one spoke. The silence was surprisingly remarkable.
