William Griffith frowned and asked again, "Where are you now? I'll come to you."
That question was easier to answer. Cherish Turner wiped her tears and controlled her emotions before replying, "I'm at a hospital on Begonia Road. Grace Harper had an accident, William, please hurry over."
William Griffith didn't ask for details about Grace's accident on the phone, instead choosing to comfort Cherish, "Don't worry, just wait for me. Don't be scared, I'll be there soon."
William didn't hang up the phone, allowing it to stay on. At this moment, he believed that Cherish must want him to keep her company with his voice.
William hurriedly exited the break room. Thomas Harrison glanced at him, noticing that his boss was not in a good mood.
A few managers looked at the departing William with confusion and then glanced at Thomas.
Thomas weighed his options before saying, "Let's end today's meeting here. That's it for everyone. I'll keep you informed if there's any news."
