"Lewis, come here."
The little guy heard his dad call and naturally complied, sitting down obediently. However, he didn't sit next to William Griffith but left a gap for Cherish Turner.
With no other seats available, Cherish had no choice but to sit down, right beside William.
This hot pot restaurant was very popular with many people. Cherish glanced at the radiant big boss, sure that he had never dined in such a down-to-earth place. She picked up a few baskets and stood up:
"You sit first, I'll go get the food. Oh, you can't eat spicy, can you?"
Judging by his appearance, he probably couldn't handle spicy food.
"Who says? I can eat very spicy." William corrected, clearly feeling underestimated by her.
"Really?" She looked at him skeptically.
"Load up on the spice!"
——
Soon, Cherish brought over a tray of food. Since Lewis was a child, she had asked the restaurant owner to prepare a bowl of mild soup for him.
The one she and William were eating was very spicy.
