Tek punched Kazuma in the stomach, sending him back and making him crash against the force field.
Before Kazuma could blink, Tek was already in his face with a barrage of punches.
Kazuma jumped to the right, dodging the attacks. Kazuma punched Tek across the face twice, whacked him in the gut, jumped, and double kicked him in the chest.
Tek did a backflip backwards, and he grabbed Kazuma's fire hair, and slammed it into the floor, over and over. Tek then raised Kazuma upwards by the neck, and then slammed the back of Kazuma's head into the floor. Tek picked Kazuma up again, and started punching and kicking him in the chest and face over 10 times.
Tek said, "I'm gonna end this quickly. I have a goal I'm trying to reach. But you..aren't strong enough to even be considered an obstacle for me."
Blood was dripping from Kazuma's eyes, ears, and teeth. Kazuma grabbed Tek's face in the middle of the fight, pushed himself forward to get closer, and Kazuma slapped his hand in the middle of Tek's chest, yelling, "Fire…break!"
A blast of fire came from Tek's chest and Kazuma's hand, and Tek blasted backwards and hit the force field wall
Kazuma was running around Tek, and he put his hand on the floor, and as he did that, a fire rail came from where he was touching, creating a wall of fire, surrounding Tek in it.
Tek looked left to right quickly, thinking, 'He trapped me in a ring of fire. I'll be scorched if I try to run though it..'
Coming from the fire ring, we're five figures of fire people, completely made out of fire.
They threw quick punches and stylish spinning kicks at Tek, but Tek evaded all the blows, making chains come out of him, allowing them to pierce through all of the fire figures.
Tek jumped on top of two fire figures, and rammed his fists into them, destroying them.
Tek made a long chain appear in his hands, and started spinning it around his body fast, and the heavy wind from that move made all of the fire disperse.
After, Kazuma came peeling in at great speed, Tek noticed there was more fire around his body than before.
'He's persistent..'
Kazuma dropped down low, and tried to kick Tek in the face with a flaming punt.
Tek wrapped his chains around Kazuma's leg, lifted him up, and slammed him on his stomach.
Kazuma grunted, and Tek started to run around the arena, dragging Kazuma with him.
Tek jumped up high, spinning Kazuma by the chain, spun him above his head again, and slammed Kazuma's skull into the force field, then after, Tek slammed the chain down, and Kazuma hit the ground hard, blood easily jumped from Kazuma's mouth.
Kazuma opened his eyes, and Tek was falling on him. Tek was holding a wrecking ball made up of strictly chains, and Tek said, "This is the end."
Kazuma said, "...No…not yet!"
Kazuma stuck his hand out, and a bunch of spears made out of fire came out, darting up to Tek.
Tek spun the wrecking ball around quickly, and it smashed the spears away.
Tek saw that Kazuma was gone, and thought, 'He's gone? No...behind me!'
Tek turned around, and Kazuma wasn't behind him. Tek turned back the other way, and Kazuma still wasn't there.
Tek gritted his teeth and turned around again, and Kazuma was running on the chain of Tek's wrecking ball.
Tek said, "Nice. Not really."
Kazuma responded, "You're strong. I love fighting strong people."
"Too bad you're weak."
Kazuma put his hands on the chain of the wrecking ball, and the wrecking ball was set on fire.
Tek gasped, "He can set my chains on fire with his power?"
Kazuma smiled, "Haha, yes!"
Kazuma grabbed Tek's chain, lifted his flaming wrecking ball up, and slammed it on top of Tek, making Tek crash to the ground.
But, Tek was holding the wrecking ball away from him with his strength, while Kazuma was on top of the wrecking ball, trying to push it down on Tek.
Tek thought, 'I can't make the wrecking ball disappear, Kazuma's fire is messing with it. The fire is only stable on my chains because Kazuma's hands are on it, if he takes them off, the fire dies out. I noticed that when he removed one hand off of it, the fire was dying out. I just need to get this happy bastard off of it.'
On top of the wrecking ball, Kazuma made five fire human figures appear, and they were helping Kazuma push the wrecking ball down.
Kazuma gritted his teeth, and he was covered in blood.
Kazuma exclaimed, "Just…a little….more!"
Kazuma then made four fire lion figures come out of him, and they jumped off to the side, and went to attack Tek while he was handicap.
The crowd and Hosts were intrigued, and the exam students were going crazy.
"Will Kazuma beat Tek?!"
"This is epic!"
"How is Tek able to hold that much up?!"
Duri watched closely, thinking, 'Kazuma is giving this fight his all. Eh. I know that feeling. It's rough as shit..but satisfying in the end.'
Tek made chains come out of his chest, and they wrapped around the fire lion's necks, and slammed them down to the floor, destroying them.
Up top again, Kazuma thought, 'I..I got this..right…dad?!'
[Flashback]
[11 years ago]
[Kazuma's house]
[Backyard in a small dojo]
Kid Kazuma fell to the floor, with his face dirty, and blood coming from his nose. He had small fire in his palms, but it was nothing anyone considered impressive.
Standing in front of him was his father. He had long red hair, orange eyes, and red tattoos on his face.
His father said, "Come on, I barely hit you, and you fell."
Kazuma replied while sobbing a little and small tears in his eyes, "I'm just…not strong enough. Everyone calls me a wimp and girly because I'm not tough like everyone else. I just..want to be like you…and I want friends who will appreciate me no matter what."
His father grinned, and he kneeled down to Kazuma, and he patted Kazuma on the head.
"They are mean to you because they are afraid of your growth and potential. I was like that too when I was little. Kazuma, you are more special than you know. We are not even from earth, so that makes you more unique. And one day you'll make a lot of friends who will appreciate how strong and unique you are. Don't ever let no one talk you down when they haven't been in your shoes. Show them you are more than a wimp. Work your ass off, and you will see results! Understand?!"
Kazuma wiped his eyes with a grin, exclaiming, "*Sniffs* Yokai, father!"
[FLASHBACK END]
[PRESENT DAY]
[EXAM ARENA]
Kazuma pushed harder down on the wrecking ball, and while he did it, he began to yell.
Tek thought, 'He's getting stronger?!'
The wrecking ball was about to sit right on top of Tek, and Tek said, "No…I won't be eliminated. I have goals. There is a man I have to kill."
Tek punched the middle of the wrecking ball, and chains came from his fingers while it was inside.
The chains raced through the wrecking ball, and it broke out of them through the top, and it wrapped around Kazuma's arms, and they slung Kazuma against the force field wall, and on impact, Kazuma coughed out blood.
Tek finally made the chains disappear, and he and Kazuma were standing in front of each other with sweat blood running down their faces.
Tek said, "Perhaps, I should stop messing around. I was holding back because the rules state I can't kill you. I'll fight a little harder then. Don't disappoint me."
Kazuma chuckled, "Ye-yeah! May the best man win!"
In a split second, Tek was already beside Kazuma, and he hit Kazuma in the throat.
Kazuma's back bashed right against the force field wall again, and Tek began wailing on Kazuma's face over and over again.
Tek was smashing his fists into Kazuma's face over and over, then, he grabbed his hair again, and slung him across the floor.
Kazuma got up, and balls of chains began to swarm at Kazuma. They all hit Kazuma over and over, in the face and body, and three chain balls slammed down on the top of Kazuma's head, slamming him to the ground.
Tek was running at Kazuma, slid across the floor, twisted around, and kicked Kazuma in the face, making Kazuma slide across the floor again.
Once again, Kazuma was getting to his feet, and he was drenched in blood and bruises, breathing heavily, Looking right at Tek.
Tek said, "Hm? You're still standing? You really are…tough aren't you? Very well then. Try avoiding this. Fool."
Tek created a tall and large chain ball in front of him, and he punched it at Kazuma.
Kazuma said, "Crap. It looks like I'll have to…disconnect from reality for a little bit."
Kazuma looked down at the floor, and his eyes went pitch black. Then, his skin was glowing bright white, his eyes were flaming orange, his hair got a little longer, and it was floating upward with bright yellow fire. He had yellow and orange lines all over his face and skin too, and Kazuma was slouched downward with his arms down and hands almost touching the floor.
Everyone said:
"What is that form?!"
"Is that Kazuma?!"
"He looks badass!"
Jiyu said, "Ka-Kazuma..?"
Ren-Ren commented, "What the fuuuuck?! Kazuma?!"
Nine uttered, "Whoa..that's bright."
Seven didn't say anything.
Duri said, "Oh shit.."
Espen says, "He has nothing on his mind. It's blank."
Shiryu said, "Ooo..pretty colors. Oh, Tek looks disgusted. I wonder if my opponent is strong…what will I eat later when I get home..?"
The chain ball was getting closer to Kazuma, and Kazuma dashed up to it with a straight face. He punched the middle of the chain, and there was a loud sonic boom, shaking the arena.
The chain ball shot back at Tek, making Tek think, 'His power level has increased. It's because of that silly form. What a fool. Using his trump card on me in the first match.'
Tek ran up to the chain ball, and super kicked it back to Kazuma.
Kazuma dodged it, and sped across the floor to get to Tek, and Tek did the same.
Tek and Kazuma were fighting, but they were avoiding the chain ball that was bouncing across in all directions fast.
Tek headbutted Kazuma, but Kazuma headbutted Tek in the chest, making fire blast out, and making Tek blast backwards.
Kazuma was sprinting over to Tek again, but also jumping over the bouncing chain ball that was still trying to hit him.
Kazuma pulled his fist back, as a bright white and yellow and orange light sparked around it.
He punched Tek in the face, smashing Tek against the wall.
Tek made some chains wrap around his fist, and he punched Kazuma in the face next, and that punch launched Kazuma away in the air, and the bouncing chain ball was about to hit Kazuma in the back.
Without turning around to look at it, Kazuma caught it with one hand, and the chain ball was set on fire.
Kazuma was floating in the air, and he threw it at Tek fast.
Tek started running towards it, and he made a large chain hammer form in his hands. He whacked the chain ball with it, and it almost hit Kazuma, but Kazuma dodged it.
Kazuma was already in front of Tek, holding a bright glowing white flaming sword.
He was about to hit Tek, but Tek blocked it with his chain hammer, saying, "You got guts. Using this form in your first match. But..I'm barely even fighting. I'm not disappointed. Taking you down without killing you is a headache, I must say."
Sitting in the chairs in the crowd of Hosts and exam students were Host Tetsuya, Chaos, Kedarah, and Hanako.
Kedarah said, "Ooooo so many colors! Yay!"
Chaos said, "I should've brought my cool guy shades, not gonna lie."
Hanako says, "..."
Tetsuya says, "This is unexpected. I didn't think the tide of their battle would turn out this way."
Chaos mentioned, "Not to mention that Tek is barely using his powers and Kazuma is going all out."
Kedarah says, "Iiii guess that means Kazuma is going to have to push a little harder."
Hanako agreed, "That's exactly what he has to do."
Back in the arena, Tek and Kazuma punched each other in the face, sending each other back. But before they both fell, they turned around to each other.
Kazuma pointed his hands at Tek, and waves of intense fire blasted out of it, almost covering the entire arena.
Tek thought, 'I sense nothing from Kazuma. No bloodlust..no feelings…no nothing. He really has…disconnected from reality.'
Tek put his hands on the floor, and a chain wall grew upward, keeping the waves of bright flames from touching him.
Tek said, "Enough of this."
All of sudden, chains began to wrap around Tek again, and they were beginning to grow larger and larger. A few seconds later, Tek was inside of a 40 foot tall chain soldier, it had no legs, it was just chains at the bottom.
The eyes of the soldier were red, and the chains were constantly spinning, and it had two large chain arms on the side.
Everyone in the crowd said and all over the world watching online commented:
"Insane!!!"
"Two power ups in one fight! This is legendary!"
"Is Tek looking to put this away?!"
"Tek is so hot!"
"He's so strong! No wonder he's a prodigy!"
"What's Kazuma thinking? Does he even know what's going on?"
Duri was leaning forward, and he thought, 'Is this Tek's trump card?'
From Tek's giant chain soldier stomach, long chain arms were rushing out fast with their fists engulfed in a grey smokey aura.
Kazuma was dodging them, running forward to get to Tek. Kazuma would jump on top of the arms fast, flipping and sliding onto multiple ones, and he threw multiple fireballs at Tek's body.
The attack connected.
Kazuma jumped high up, creating an even larger bright white and orange and yellow fireball.
Kazuma threw it with a straight face once again, and Tek raised his giant chain arm and caught the fireball, and made it dissapear.
Tek then grabbed Kazuma, and squeezed hard.
Kazuma had no reaction on his face, instead, he stretched his arms out, and the chain fists shattered to pieces, leaving Kazuma floating there uncontested.
Tek's giant chain hands clapped together, and the sonic boom from the clap sent Kazuma flying backwards, making him fall.
Kazuma stood all the way up again.
Tek thought, 'How much has he trained his body to be this tough? Most people wouldn't have gotten up from that.'
Just at that exact moment, Kazuma began to grow 40 feet too, and his body expanded, and his bright hair got longer and floaty.
Host Tetsuya gasped, "Kazuma is sizing Tek up.."
Some people in crowd of Hosts and exam students said:
"Get him, Tek!"
"Destroy him Tek!"
"You got this, Kazuma!"
"Just attack him already!"
Tek thought, 'He grew the exact same size as me..to challenge me even more.-'
The exam students were going wild, and the tension and electricity was high.
Tek and Kazuma eyed each other down in their giant forms, and then they blazed over at each other.
They were getting closer and closer, as everyone watched closely, and the exam students cheered them on.
"Go!"
"They're about to collide!"
"Finish him off!"
"Wait! Let me record this!"
"Sucks for you, I'm already recording!"
Tek and Kazuma were approaching each other closer at a fast speed.
Kazuma threw his fist at Tek, and a large blast of fire shot at Tek. Tek ducked, and let the beam of bright face go past him above his head.
Tek sat up, and rammed his fist through Kazuma's giant fire figure, leaped off the floor, spun a few times in the air, and they were spinning back down to the ground.
As they spun, a large fire and chain tornado mixed together appeared over their legs.
When they crashed, it was a loud thud, and everyone was silent, and they were whispering to each other.
"Are they okay?"
"Are they dead?"
The dust was clearing up, and everyone was looking nervously at the arena ring, even all of the Hosts.
Jiyu said, "I-I hope Kazuma is o..okay.."
Ren-Ren responds, "That was a hard fucking fall…"
The dust cleared up all the way, and Tek was standing on top of Kazuma's unconscious body.
Tek was reading his small black book, saying, "Fools. That wasn't even half of my power."
The crowd of exam students cheered, and the Hosts were whispering amongst each other.
The students said:
"I knew he'd win!"
"Way to go, Tek!"
"It's okay, Kazuma!"
"Kazuma is gonna be unconscious for a little while!"
Seven had no reaction to any of this, but then she tapped Duri on the arm.
Duri replied, "What do you want?"
"Look."
"Hm?".
Duri and Seven looked at Kazuma, and Kazuma was turning back to his normal appearance.
Kazuma opened his eyes, and he sat up quickly, exclaiming with a smile, "Woohoo! That was fun! Let's fight again, Tek!"
Tek replied, "You are annoying. But I commend you for being up."
"Of course I am! But..I lost fair and square. You're really strong."
"You…are pretty strong yourself. That's the only compliment I'm giving you."
Tek started walking away, and the force field was going away.
Kazuma stood up, looking at all the crowd reactions.
Kazuma was then escorted to the health rooms by a few medics, and Host Tetsuya appeared in the middle of the ring.
"What a match. Both of you did exceptionally well. But in the end, Tek won this fight. Both if your grade points are being calculated now, and it will be shown to you later on. We calculated your strategies, attacks, speed, skill, strength, and awareness. In which all of them were strongly taken into effect in this match. So, next up to fight…is Jiyu and Nine!"
Jiyu said, "I-I don't know if I can do this..there are a lot of eyes watching."
Nine slapped Jiyu in the shoulder, smiling, "Don't be a little pussy, Jiyu. This is what you signed up for. I'm gonna let you know this…I'm not holding back against you. I expect you to do the same for me. Okay?!"
"...Okay."
Duri looked at both of them, and thought, 'Seeing Jiyu nervous in this situation is causing me to be a little nervous too. I was in a situation like this before, but I ignored the fact that a lot of people were fucking watching me like hawks.'
Nine said to Seven, "Wish me luck, bestie!"
Seven and Nine did a secret handshake, and Seven said, "Do your best, slut."
Seven looked at Jiyu, and said, "You do your best too. Don't do anything of that crying shit in the ring. Wrong place for that."
Jiyu answered, "O..okay.. I won't.."
Ren-Ren smirked, "Jiyu is definitely gonna cry. I already know. As soon as she gets hit once."
Seven said to Ren-Ren, "And you're a psycho."
"I prefer the term, VILLAIN. Thank you."
"Ew."
Duri was on his phone, looking through the Bloggerz app. He saw nothing but clips and highlights of Tek and Kazuma's match, and he thought, 'Almost a billion eyes watching us. When it's my turn to fight, I can't fuck up. Because I know Marshy is watching too. I can't disappoint her after all the hellish training she put me through. Her and that old man Mifu.'
Seconds later, Nine and Jiyu were in the middle of the arena staring each other down.
The force field was around them, and Nine was cracking her knuckles with a grin.
Jiyu was stretching, and she clenched her fists over and over to check the firmness of her gloves.
On the side, Chaos asked Tetsuya, "Pleaseee? Can I please announce this fight? You can't have all the damn fun you long haired pony boy."
"Was that an insult?"
"An attempted one, yes."
"...Fine. Go ahead."
"Haha, alright!"
Chaos stood up and exclaimed, "Now then. JIYU…NINE…FIGHT!"
