-The Dreamscape-
When he reappeared in their dream, he was standing over her, as he was in reality. He couldn't feel her emotions as clearly here, as he could in the hospital. He felt her love and some confusion, but it was nothing like his experience with her before. Even touching the soft skin on her arm, didn't give him the swarm of feelings that went through him like lightning, before.
He looked down at the pearl, lying so lightly in her hand. Then he glanced over at the amulet, still lying in the small bowl.
He took in a deep breath. Sighing heavily.
I don't want to bring anything up. The tree, Melisa, even 'er violet eyes. I just want 'er. I want to be with 'er. While I can. Screw the rest of it.
He bent down and kissed her cheek. Her stomach growled at him, as if angry from the lack of food.
Smiling, he stood up and went to the small kitchen by the table. It was still night, so he thought dinner would be more appropriate.
