Keith 6:45 pm
My shift had ended earlier today so I decided to hang out with my two best and only friends. Alex and Esther (ps I know they weren't in the introduction chapter so how they look is up to you.)
I grabbed my jacket and headed out while texting Leon. The conversation ended about 15 minutes later which was the amount of time it took me to walk from the shop to Alex's house.
"Bye :)" he texted
"😘" I texted back
"Eww Omggg stop." He texted once more I chuckled as I put my phone back in my pocket.
"Who got you smiling like that?" Alex said smirking while Esther raised a brow.
"Shut up, hurry up I haven't gotten all day." I huffed Esther and Alex shot each other a suspicious glanced and smirked while we walked both whispering things to each other looking at me then back and giggling.
I swear sometimes my friends can be crazy, but I love them they've always been there for me when I needed them most.
Leon 7:10 pm
Tim continued to hit on Sierra all the way up to my apartment. It's kinda funny watching him be all puppy-like. I stop to listen when I heard the sounds of others.
It's was Keith and two other people who looked to be about my age.
"Oh hey Leon!" he said. I give him a small wave while searching around for my keycard.
"Oh, so this is Leon?" The boy standing next to him said smugly. I looked at him confused but before he could say more Keith covered the boy's mouth with his hand. And shot me an over-enthusiastic smile.
I noticed how the boy and girl's gaze shifted towards my friend they all exchanged glances before time decided to snatch the keycard from my hand to open the door.
Before I knew it everybody had been invited to my apartment without me having a say in it. But I guess who cares
Keith 7:15
I stood beside Leon leaning on the wall as we watched our friends introduce themselves to each other. My friends began first
"I'm Alex, I'm 18 and the coolest guy you'll ever meet." He said winking.
"I'm Esther, I'm 19 and I like playing the piano." Then Leon's friends began
"I'm Sierra, I'm 18 and I like taking photos on instant cameras."
"I'm Tim, I'm 18 and I'm Sierra's soon-to-be boyfriend." She shot him a look that said not a chance.
"One day, eventually." He said.
They all sat down and talked for a while they seemed to all really get along with each other. But I knew something was up the minute Sierra walked away when the other 3 began whispering to each other. Leon was too busy talking to me to notice.
"Oh my gosh..." Alex began slowly. He better not.
"Is that? A mouse!" He shouted. The next thing I knew was that Leon had jumped onto me wrapping his legs and arms around me. Not that I minded it
"Where? Kill it. Kill it." He began to say while his voice cracked.
"Not cool," I said to Alex.
"It was just a joke." I shot him a glare while rubbing Leon's back to soothe him.
"What happened?" Sierra asked confused as she had just walked into the room. Leon lifted his head to stare at his friend and slid down. Although I was very reluctant to let go of him, I quite liked the feeling of him in my arms.
"Nothing, um. How about you guys decided on a movie while I make hot chocolate," he said walking into the kitchen I followed fast behind him.
Leon 7:28pm
I scurried into the kitchen. how embarrassing I thought. I turned around to head to the fridge, but I bumped into something hard. Keith's chest, I looked up at him and quickly back down.
I watched as his hand slowly made its way from his side to my cheek gently wiping away the almost dried stream of tears.
"Are you okay?" he asked softly.
"Yeah, yeah... I'm ok, I'm fine."
"I'm sorry, Alex can be a real pain sometimes."
"It's ok, really. Now let's make that hot chocolate before Tim gets cranky."
He chuckled before pulling me into a quick hug which for some reason I wished lasted slightly longer.
