Chapter 6 - Fauzan Family's

Fifteen minutes later the car stopped in front of Jessi, Cleo and Rere stood up. They knew who was in the car.

Until a man came in wearing only a black hoodie and black jeans too. Approaching Jessi with a look full of concern. Jessi felt even more guilty seeing her again.

"Sorry," Jessi squeaked, lowering her head.

"Cleo, Rere, thanks for taking care of Jessi."

Rere just nodded not bothered. Cleo also did the same thing because she was scared by seeing Fauzan's gaze.

"Let us go home!" he asked then grabbed Jessi's hand.

"Careful!" Cleo exclaimed when she saw Jessi had entered Fauzan's car.

Earlier, before they left for the mall, Jessi's car had already been brought back by the driver who asked her to come.

Seeing that Fauzan's car had passed in front of them, Rere and Cleo then headed to their respective vehicles.

In the car they were silent. Neither Fauzan nor Jessi wanted to start a conversation. Such an atmosphere made Jessi even more afraid to just stare at Fauzan.

"Have you had dinner yet?" asked Fauzan coldly, still looking straight at the street.

"Yes," answered Jessie curtly. He didn't know what to do now.

"Sorry," Jessi squeaked again remembering her apology had not been answered.

"Hmm…." Fauzan only replied with a sigh.

"How come that's the only answer? Are you forgiven?" Jessi asked in an annoyed voice. He just needed yes or no, but the man answered him with something else.

"I'm not angry, Babe. I'm just worried. It's your bad habits that make me worried. When did I ever forbid you to go out with anyone? Never, right? But I only ask for one condition, how are you. Why is it so difficult just to pick up the phone?" Fauzan's voice is low and low. He had never yelled at Jessi in all this time, whatever his fault. Remember! Whatever.

Jessi lowered her head, even more, realizing her mistake.

"Sorry," he said again, not knowing what else to say.

"Yes. Learn not to repeat the same mistakes, okay!"

Jessi nodded enthusiastically hearing that Fauzan had forgiven her. It's not just once or twice, it's been many times. Whether it was intentional or not Jessi was aware of doing that.

"I called Cleo and he didn't pick up. Why is that?" Fauzan asked, remembering that he had previously contacted Cleo to ask where Jessi was.

Jessi shook her head with an innocent face but it looked adorable in Fauzan's eyes.

"I don't know. He didn't say anything to me. Only Rere said that" he replied.

"Oh okay. Shall we go straight home or do we want to find something first?"

Fauzan is very familiar with all of Jessi's habits. Moreover, if they came home late at night from somewhere, then the woman would not want to go straight home and would ask to find food for street vendors around them.

"Find some snacks first," he answered, which was immediately confirmed by Fauzan's heart if his guess was correct.

"Okay!"

"Where's Fauzan, Mam?" asked a middle-aged man still using his after-work.

He sat down on his soft sofa which was expensive and he bought his hard work.

The woman who was asked continued to stare at the television screen with a look that could not be separated.

"Get out," he said curtly. Even to look at her husband was reluctant.

"Yes, where? There is something I want to talk to him about," he said again, dissatisfied with his wife's short answer.

Instead of answering, the woman got up from her seat and left her husband alone in the living room.

"Well, I have left again. It wasn't the devil when I was ignored like that," he said jokingly.

He then took out his cellphone and opened his social media. Seeing so many sexy women with various poses and clothes made his eyes sparkle. His eyes narrowed in fear that someone would see his stupid behavior. After feeling safe, he continued to enjoy all the photos.

Argantara Bima, the name of the man who became Fauzan's biological father, does have an impudent nature. He could never get enough of his beautiful wife alone. Not cheating for real, but just enjoying photos of other women isn't that the same as cheating? Argan has five companies in different fields. One of them is a lawyer's office which he will deliberately send down to Fauzan. Two minimarkets, one entertainment building, and one fashion shop.

All he has is not from parental money or inheritance. But really from the hard work of the last eighteen years.

His wife, or Fauzan's biological mother, is named Veve Aldiansyah, or his socialite friends usually call him Ve. The woman has a firm demeanor, unfriendly, considerate, and picky. However, all of those attitudes he had since they experienced abundant wealth. Veve wasn't friendly at all with Jessi. He didn't agree because he thought Jessi's family was at the bottom of his wealth line.

Unlike Argan, who approves of Jessi and Fauzan's relationship. He loved Jesse like his own child. However, his relationship with Fauzan is sometimes not fine.

They often argue about trivial things. However, they never quarreled so badly that they hated each other. Only once in a while makes them stretch.

Every time he comes home from abroad taking care of expanding his business, Argan never forgets to buy Jessi a gift in the form of luxury items that will make Veve dislike Jessi even more.

After walking around the city looking for a variety of delicious street food, they finally arrived in front of Jessi's house. There were already two cars and a motorbike parked neatly there. If it's like this, don't let Fauzan go home without saying goodbye to them.

Fauzan also went downstairs and went into the house with Jessi, helping the woman with the amount of food they had bought. To accompany Jessi to watch the drama he said.

The atmosphere of the house is very quiet every day, especially at night.

Jeno, who had just come out of the kitchen, glared at Fauzan. Don't say hello, just don't smile. Jeno casually walked past the two of them to the second floor where his room was.

Fauzan is used to getting this kind of treatment from his girlfriend's sister. Before long, A middle-aged man also came out of the kitchen. Looks like they just finished their dinner.

Fauzan immediately approached him and shook the back of his hand politely.

"Eh Fauzan, have you had dinner?" he asked so kindly. In contrast to this morning, the noise was not clear.

"Yes, Om. I just want to take Jessi home," he replied, no less friendly.

Jessi did the same, shaking the back of her father's hand. Although there is a feeling of laziness in his heart.
