There came a time which almost brought the end of the human race, where visitors from outerspace came to Earth for a visit. The government quickly acknowledged these visitors and sent forces to stop and capture them.
These outer worldly creatures had silver- coloured bodies with long sharp tails varying in number as their strengths, they had soul-piercing red eyes with large horns and fangs making them a tad resemblance to a movie art demon.
They stood tall up to about 10 foot making them giants in terms of average human height and could speak human language, English in exact. This sent shivers down the elite forces spines as they stood in terror of the aliens but before a fight could be put up, the beings yielded to the forces claiming to have come to make peace with man and interconnect with each other.
Soon after some questioning and interrogation, man made peace with these creatures which brought a leap in technological advancement and development due to the aliens vast knowledge as machines like teleporters, space ships and holograms were created.
Due to the technological advancement of the beings over man and their claim that they were more of them from their planet called planet Tera, the government took precautions to watch and be careful of the aliens but found no way of gaining more information on them as the Terans placed restrictions on the teleporters, stopping them from going to planet Tera.
This was strange to the government powers but they were blinded by technology earned and great economic development till the day when they attacked, The Alien Apocalypse.
Countless unknown airships came to Earth with more powerful technologies, they fought against man with their technologies and might, killing billions of humans and even though the military and government authorities did their best to fight back the aliens, they were simply no match.
Soon, the government realized their mistakes as the first visitors were just spies to find out the strengths of man, both in might and technology, there was never any intention to make peace with the human race.
They only wish for the natural resources of the earth, to conquer and rule the Earth. As quickly as the war started so also it ended as humanity was overwhelmed, more than half of the world's population killed, leaving the land bare and empty of life, only sheltering Teran resource extraction machines and corpses which slowly decayed.
And so the rest of the world went into hiding, underground, under rubbish, underseas and on other planets. It was almost the end of the human race on earth as more fell by the hands of the Terans no matter where they hid but one man, one scientist never gave up and his name is still respected till this day, James Mountain.
Now the world is back to normal and the Terans have been chased away from Earth, technology has been utilized and the human race has advanced even more greatly than before. This was all made possible by James Mountain, the founder and creator of abilities.
Abilities are powers that beats human imagination, they are powers found even in folktales and fantasy novels. Even at the countless deaths, James never shook but researched fervently in his lab till he finally completed his experiment marking the end of despair and beginning of a new age.
Man finally fought back, claiming their land after land. The human race finally had the upper hand due to the Terans not having these abilities giving man that advantage and so man won the war, pursuing the Terans out of the Earth.
The Terans had lost but the world remained more cautious than ever before, never to make the same mistake as before because the Teran leader said these last words before leaving.
"We shall be back and you shall all taste complete despair, you win today but not tomorrow, the strong shall stand and the weak shall fall!!!"
They took their leave, freeing the human race from their hiding and despair. And so James Mountain became the hero of Earth and he breath his last .
Some time has passed after James death and the successing generation didn't gain the powers of their parents through inheritance which caused confusion and dismay among the people due to fear of defeat of the next generation who would fight against the Terans without abilities, returning to permanent despair.
Fortunately for them, a new scientist arose from no where, claiming to have a solution to their impending problem which brought the existence of ability manuals which contained necessary information needed to learn an ability, including some skills depending on the level of the manual.
This caused contraditions and arguements among the people as some did not wish to make their abilities free to public, usually because they had strong abilities but still much others agreed to make their abilities public, they knew their powers was given to them by one so why not give another and so many abilities were published and being sold worldwide, strengthening the next generation for the return of the Terans.
