You know what, I suppose it's time to ask father to enter the skill manual hall but in order to do that I have to wait till it's morning..
- Sigh - I guess I'll spend my time until midnight absorbing mana through via the ordinary way and sleep.

"Let's get that mana absorption skill manual. " I said when a grin.
I quickly got dressed up without the help of Selena and quickly ran downstairs and went to my father's workspace in the house.
" Father! May I make a request? " I said, with my chest puffed out.
He looked at me with a curious gaze and said.
" What is your request son? " he said with his curious gaze piercing me.
" I want to have permission to enter the skill manual hall and pick out techniques. " I said, putting my hand on my chest as a form of respect and seriousness.
" Hooh.. are you sure? Are you at that stage already? " he asked.
" Yes father, the manual ordinary way to absorb mana is way too slow. It will take forever for me to absorb enough mana to unlock all of my mana veins. As well as possibly learning a sword technique as I do lack one. " I said.
My father looked at me with surprise and shock.
" You.. haha.. HAHA! That's my son, I knew you were quite capable even though you had a weak body! Very well. I grant you full access to the skill manual hall. Here take this token and show it to the guards if they don't permit you to enter. " my father said with a huge smile on his face.
" Thank you so much, father! I will not let you down. " I said with a firm and sincere voice.
I quickly ran out and went towards the skill manual hall.
" Stop! Young master, you do not have the permission to enter the skill manual hall. " said one of the guards.
" Here's the token boys. " I raised my hand and showed them the token.
" Ah.. sorry sir. Please enter. " said the guard, making a gesture pointing to the entrance of the skill manual hall.
I pulled my hand back and placed the token in my pouch.
Upon stepping into the large library of skill books ranging from spear techniques, bow techniques, close quarter combat techniques, a large portion of it contained sword techniques.
As expected of a knight-based household.. I suppose let's start with finding a sword technique for myself first.
I walked towards one of the shelves stuffed full of sword manuals and checked what it has in store for me.
" Fiery Sword.. Berserker Sword.. Vanishing Sword... hmm.. all of these are definitely not bad techniques.. but they aren't just my type. " I thought out loud while reading the manual names.
Nano is it possible for me to scan sword techniques and combine them?

Perfect! Damn, this feels like a cheat.
I'll scan the sword techniques best suited for me then and fuse them together.
I continued looking around and skimming the techniques and picked out the ones I liked.
" Alright, I guess that's it. " I grinned ear to ear looking at the skill manuals I laid across the table.

I felt my brain capacity go up to the max for nano to scan the old manuals.
" Ughh.. It's been a couple of times now and it still makes my head throb like heck.. I guess a few times won't cut it. " I said while sweating flipping through the pages full of complex movements and texts.
It took a while to scan all the books and it hurt like hell, so it better be worth it.

The techniques coursed through my brain like a violent ocean current.
Somehow.. it wasn't just the texts from the manual that I understood.. but I knew the purpose of each movement as well. It was engraved into my mind, but regardless I still had to train a lot in order to be proficient in it.

That's one heck of a long name.. the grade has improved too, The techniques were originally mid-grade techniques.. now it's on par with a master-grade technique skill. It'll take a lot longer to reach perfection proficiency but it looks like it'll be worth the hassle.
It seems the sword technique really does fit my needs.. it's a high-grade technique and focuses on gentle, swift, elegant and unpredictable slashes and strikes. As they say, Illusion is one of the most dangerous of them all.

Moving on, since I already accomplished my goal of getting a satisfactory sword skill, it's time to find a mana absorption technique.
I then proceeded to wander around the huge library containing various manuals until I reached a portion of the hall where all the collections of mana absorption skill manuals are kept.
