"Take a shower, dress up, send a text to mom and dad, have breakfast with Mary, say goodbyes, get a taxi to the airport and get the hell out of this damn town." I made the list in my head as I walked to the lift.
I look at the stairs and quiver in fear, I don't think I will take stairs any time soon, the lift will do. And if it will be a must for me to do so, I will make sure that I am not alone. We don't want what to repeat now, do we?
I wait for the lift to open and get in, it is empty and I am happy about that at least that way no one will talk to me while I look ahead and then think I am ignoring them. I hate when some people think that.
I am a lot of things but being contemptuous is not on the list of my behavior. I respect people not only because I want the respect back but because that is among the top ten values and hold on to with passion.
