**The Man**
After trying to talk to Brenda at Sean's Corner Center and getting no reply, he had gone back to his place and kept pondering why Brenda had assumed him, he was worried.
"Didn't she want me?" He asked herself that question over and over with no answer, the only person who would have answered him was Brenda.
If only anyone would have told him that someone couldn't love anyone they didn't know of their existence, but one thing for sure the man wouldn't have understood anything like that.
He wanted Brenda and he was sure someone was making her beautiful Brenda not to care about him.
After a few hours of thinking about Brenda he went back to Sean Corner Centre and still got nothing, he went back to his place and thrash things around. He removed and thrashed all the pictures he had on the wall as he was really angry.
He left his house and went out to take a walk, he cursed himself over and over. Wondering why he was wasting his precious time taking a walk it wasn't like he didn't have other things to worry about, furthermore, that time wasn't meant taking a walk.
He had time for everything.
Time to take pictures.
Time to follow Brenda.
Time to print out the pictures.
Time to eat.
Time to work out.
Oh, yes, he did work out. He didn't want to be that kind of a person who forgot to take care of his body. If he did forget about his body, he was sure it would make things hard, not only for Brenda but also for him.
"Women loves guys with toned bodies," that is what he told himself and that meant he was going to be as toned as possible so when he met his lovely Brenda, he would be a sexy man whom Brenda would drool over just from one look.
He wished!
And for his purpose, he wanted to be fit because if anything happened while he watched his beloved, he would run as fast as his legs would take him. Those two reasons were enough for him as they were good and correct.
He went back to his house and as soon as he saw what a mess he did with the pictures, he screamed as if he was in pain.
"f**k, f**k!" He to said to himself as he thought of how stupid he was for not calming himself down and not do the mess he did.
The man collected the pictures and put them back to where they were, happy that not so many pictures were destroyed, after that he took a shower and got into his bed.
On that night, he slept holding Brenda's picture close to his chest.
The next day, he rearranged the pictures well and then went for a run. While running he didn't feel good and went back to his house, perhaps it was because he felt as if someone was squeezing his heart over and over.
Was there really a need for him to calm down?
One setback, just one! And it was because Brenda didn't answer him when he called her, and that made him feel like his world was ending.
Later that evening, walking into a bar he wished he could get himself a woman who would please him, so the next morning he would wake up new and he would forget about the setback and go back to loving Brenda.
Watching the women in the bar dancing, Brenda's picture came into his head and he couldn't make it go away.
"Hi," a woman said to him flirtatiously.
"Hi, how are you doing?" he said, surprising himself in the process.
He didn't expect it would be that easy, he thought he was going to be grumpy as the picture of Brenda dancing was still in his head.
"You want to dance." The lady asked him.
"I don't think so." The man replied and with one look at him, the lady left him, shaking her ass thinking the man was staring at her.
The ladies kept coming to him but he rejected them all, his mind and body were in two different places and he decided to follow what his mind was telling him, and it was getting the hell out of the bar.
He stood up, walked out of the bar, and walked home.
The next few days he didn't see Brenda, and he became worried. He even went back to Sean Corner Center in the hope of catching a glimpse of her and nothing.
One morning as he watched the news he stopped at Channel 2 News, the news anchor was saying, "Good morning and this is Channel 2 News. It's been two weeks since we learn about the missing of Brandon Keys, the son of the C.E.O of the Keys. We are hereby pleading with you, anyone who has seen him or heard anything which can help us find him. Kindly call the number below, it's free."
He then understood why he hadn't seen his beloved; her brother was missing.
"How sad are you, my love?" he asked smirking, staring at one of Brenda's pictures.
He thought of how Brenda was feeling and he felt bad and great at the same time.
He felt good because it meant there was no man in Brenda's life, it was his moment to shine and get her beautiful woman to himself.
He also felt bad because he could imagine how sad Brenda was at the moment.
The news about Brandon's missing went on and on for more weeks and it began to make him angry, was Brandon a prince and why did they keep announcing it? Brandon was a big boy, maybe he had decided to leave his home and he was somewhere enjoying his life.
He read the articles and blogs regarding Brandon and found nothing concerning Brenda.
Was Brenda missing too?
He didn't see Brenda for more weeks.
And then one day, he called the phone number which was given out on the news and when it got picked up it was a guy, whom he assumed was Brenda's father. He ended the call and forgot about it, months passed, and Brenda was nowhere to be found.
